Join the Children’s Home of Easton and Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society for an exciting fall evening hosted outdoors at the picturesque Hugh Moore Park in Easton. Explore Malbecs, Cabernet Sauvignons, and other full-bodied red wines of the region. Feel the spirit of the gauchos as we enjoy grilled meats and vegetables outdoors over bonfires under the stars.

The evening begins for our VIP guests with a private reception where premier wines and food will be enjoyed. The main event kicks off before sunset as guests arrive to explore the lawn filled with things to see and taste! After you check out the silent auction items, enjoy your food and wine under the twinkling tent as you watch our limited live auction featuring exclusive wine offerings, specialty items, and desirable trips.

We are excited to announce Celia Welch as our 2021 Wine Gala Honorary Chair!
Celia was born and raised in Medford, Oregon as the daughter of parents who loved wine, home winemaking, gardening and great food, and pursued wine studies at UC Davis, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Fermentation Science in 1982.
In 1992 Celia began a small consulting practice and realized the joy in working with small, single-vineyard estate properties and the passionate visionaries who own them.
She currently consults for a limited selection of Napa Valley clients, primarily with their own estate vineyards, producing ultra-premium Cabernets and other varietals for them and for her own brand, Corra.
Celia was honored with Food & Wine’s Winemaker of the Year 2008, and in 2009 was nominated for a James Beard Award. Forbes.com honored her as one of America’s Top Ten Tastemakers in 2005. Women for Winesense awarded her their 1999 “Hall of Fame Award”, and she received The Rising Star Award from the same organization. She is a professional member of the ASEV, and a past co-chair of the Napa Valley Wine Technical Group.
Celia will host our Wine Gala on April 10, 2021 at Saucon Valley Country Club in Center Valley, PA.
